I am married to my fabulous husband Ed who is a principal at Ironwood Family Wealth Advisors and affiliated with Big Shoulders and Samaritan Counseling  I have three wonderful children.  Andrew graduated from Indiana University and is currently living in Los Angeles, California working for PATH..  Will is working for Ferrari-Carano Winery in Sonoma County, California.  Bella is a Junior at Loyola Marymount University where she is an Alpha Phi, majoring in Finance and an intern at NASA/JPL..

My family and I have lived in Barrington for 28 years where I have been very active in the schools as well as in various clubs and groups my children have belonged to; including Barrington Soccer Association, Barrington Swim Club,  Barrington Quarterback Club, Barrington Youth Baseball and Softball, and Barrington Children’s Choir. I am also affiliated with Impact 100 and Musicians On Call.

My education and work background can be reviewed on Linkedin but in a nutshell I attended Miami University and Lake Forest College where I earned my degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education.  I have worked in office management, accounting, and marketing as well as taught 2nd grade, 5th grade, and ESL in Chicago.

Real Estate Referral is on of my business endeavors.  I take all of my background training in psychology and education and my experience in business and apply it to the business of real estate. I currently have my license parked at a holding company and I deal mostly in referrals.  I am dedicated to providing my clients with professional service while helping them find an agent who will serve all of their real estate needs.

I also started a fundraising consulting blog with my friend Kyle Kick.  We both have a similar philosophy about personal, business, and community responsibility.  We started The Big Change Project which focuses on fundraising consultation for non-profits as well as promotes service opportunities and community partnerships.  We currently blog and often are asked to speak to groups regarding this approach to raising money and becoming socially responsible.

My most recent endeavor is working full time as a hospice volunteer coordinator at Covenant Care Home Health and Hospice.  We are part of the Covenant Retirement Communities which is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  It is a humbling and rewarding job that keeps me balanced and aware of my blessings every single day.

Finally, I am a dog lover.  Specifically Australian Shepherds.  Our first, Evalina, was a part of our family for 16 years.  We had to get her a friend, so Bonnie was her sweet sister.  Now we have PennyLane..  She is an enthusiatic and completely fluffy pup companion to us all.
