Again, it has been a long time since I last posted. We have sold our home to a lovely family from San Diego. I am sure they are freaking out about the amount of rain we have gotten in the past two months. We moved in with our dear friends and they have been lovely and gracious hosts. After a month of entertaining us we finally closed on our new house. Moving all of our treasures has been a chore. It is difficult since we know we will be "project-ing" this new home. We have vowed to live in it as-is for awhile. We need to get a feel for the home and see what works for us and what doesn't. Bonnie is sad to leave her friend Dixie but happy to investigate the new digs. It is a slow process and I am determined to relax at least at the end of each day. During this crazy time I have left my business partner and have ventured out on my own in real estate. I also have a new listing and I will post that shortly. In the meantime, the photo below is just a taste of what we are working with. We will honor the mid-century modern theme with a bit of traditional touches as to keep it "sellable' in the future.
