Sneak Peek at #projectScoby 2

So we have been here almost 6 weeks. We are getting to know the house intimately.....I am well versed in well and septic systems, 1983 refrigerators, and Lennox air conditioners. While we understood that there would be some projects that would have to be handled first it seems as if each area is challenging us to update and beautify sooner rather than later. This is a view from our stairs into our kitchen. You can see the lovely light fixture is a direct compliment to the one in my earlier entry. I am sure when we replace these, there will be a huge demand for 1970 retro lights when all of the crazies on Craigslist get their eyes on these.

In the meantime, we are quite warm with no A/C, our frig is plugging away until the new one comes and all toilets are in working order again. I will enjoy a large glass of wine on my lovely brown screened in porch tonight as I peruse thru issues of Dwell and Architectual Digest. At least there is a breeze!
