Let the house speak to you.

When we decided to purchase this home, one thing we knew for sure, is that we were going to live in this house, as-is, for at least a year before we began any work. Unfortunately, as with most older homes, the house speaks up and tells you that your plan is sh*t.
Not only was our house speaking up, it was screaming like a 12 year old girl at One Direction concert.
Septic issues, air conditioner issues, refrigerator issues.........big things to tackle but not yet ready to make design decisions. So, air conditioner fixed, septic issue dealt with but what to do abou the 1988 42" built in refrigerator? How do you replace such a large appliance when you don't even know the layout of your kitchen? Well, you think fast, trust your instinct, and listen to the house. The original architect drew up multiple floor plans for this house (thank you Dorthy for saving them and sharing!) After living in the house for only two months it is plainly obvious that the kitchen layout is ideal. There will be a wall removed and updates but the footprint is perfect. So, new 42" built in refrigerator will be ordered.
Thank you 477 Pinewoods, for being patient with us.
