I Can't Imagine a Better Vacation

I love to cook. I can cook anywhere. It doesn't have to be in some fancy kitchen. I don't need expensive tools or designer pots and pans. If the oven gets hot, the gas burners light, and the frig keeps the food cold, I am good. However, I do like to be inspired, and what is more inspiring than the kitchen Julia Child herself cooked in. Now I, and you, have the chance to bake, fry, saute, braise, brown, sear, stir, mix, sift, strain, knead, blanch, blend, boil, peel, roast, fricassee....in La Pitchoune ("The Little One" in French), a 1,500-square-foot cottage in Provence.
